Tvorog (more known as cottage cheese or quark) is a very soft cheese. It's very easy to make at home by warming soured milk until it curds and separates from whey, and then straining it. Add it into smoothies, incorporate it in desserts or substitute feta or ricotta with it.
Sour cream is so hearty and versatile. It goes with pretty much everything: soups, sauces, pancakes, crêpes, salads, bread, potatoes, dumplings, beef stroganoff, marinades, cakes, pastries (honestly, you name it!). A homemade sour cream is a great alternative to the store bought one as it contains probiotic for the digestive health.
