This no-bake recipe is your go-to if you wish to create an effortless but impressive breakfast, mid-day snack or dessert.

Ingredients

1/4 cup chia seeds
-
1 cup milk (or milk alternative)
-
2 tsp cocoa powder, unsweetened
-
1 tbsp maple syrup
-
1 tsp vanilla extract
-
1/2 tsp cinnamon, ground
To garnish (optional):
-
fresh/frozen fruits & berries, nuts & seeds, granola, peanut butter, yoghurt or whipped cream.
Directions
Place all the ingredients in a bowl. Whisk well to combine, cover and refrigerate overnight or minimum of 4 hours.
When ready to serve, blend until smooth (optional). You will notice the colour change from dark brown to light brown and the texture will become more "slimy".
